The Impact of Seismic Data Conditioning on Well Ties and Inversion: A Live HampsonRussell Demo

September 29, 2026 | 3:00 PM CET

Online
Speaker:  Kirill Siraev, Geophysicist

Discover why seismic conditioning is a critical step before AVO analysis and seismic inversion.

In this live HampsonRussell demonstration, we will explain the fundamentals of well tying and compare well ties generated from raw and conditioned seismic data to illustrate the impact of seismic conditioning on correlation quality.

The session will demonstrate essential conditioning workflows - including Mute, RNMO Correction, Trim Statics, and Radon Filtering - followed by statistical and deterministic wavelet extraction methods.

By the end of the webinar, you'll understand how proper data preparation leads to more reliable well ties and higher-confidence inversion results.
